Chelsea been in practice as a social worker since 2007, starting with working in community agencies. She later focused on medical social work, working all over the US piloting various programs in metropolitan cities such as Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Boston MA, Richmond VA, among many others. She has a passion in advocating for clients and patients and specializes in medical social work with a passion for dealing with children with chronic illnesses, eating disorders, OCD, depression, anxiety among many others. She has a unique understanding that navigating the health, mental health and educational system is a barrier to services nationwide.
She is LGBTQ+ aligned, Police and First Responder experienced. Chelsea created Village Therapy knowing that it takes a village to get by and our mental health is no different. Our support system is a key factor to success when it comes to therapy.
Chelsea is a clinical supervisor with the Behavioral Health Executive Council and practices in both the telehealth and in person setting in Texas. Her primary practice location is in San Angelo, Texas serving the residence of the Concho Valley with a secondary location in Austin Texas.

Javier "Jay" is a LMSW in both Texas and Kansas. He graduated from Angelo State University while working at the Local Mental Health Authority commonly known as MHMR. He enjoys giving others space to breathe and talk about their concerns and his goal is to come together as an alliance and face the issues that bring stress, concern and distraction from living our most healthy and fulfilling lives.
Jay works clients struggling with depression and anxiety utilizing CBT frameworks to engage clients where they are with currently knowledge and understanding of their problems in a practical sense.
Jay is accepting new clients and is under clinical supervision of Chelsea Kading, LCSW-S.

Samantha is a Licensed Master Social Worker serving clients in and around San Angelo, TX both in person and via tele-health. She has experience with children with special health care needs, foster and adoptive youth and parents, medical social work, victim advocacy, grief/loss, divorce, aging, caregiving, and death and dying.
Samantha earned her Bachelor’s in International Business from Angelo State University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Samantha is is currently under clinical supervision with Chelsea Kading, LCSW-S.

Ginger "Ginny" is Chelsea's favorite part of therapy. Ginny is a 3 year old Golden Retriever rescue. She has sat in on countless therapy sessions and never ask for your copay (that's Chelsea's job). While she will not turn away pets from anyone, Ginny is particularly fond of sitting quietly nearby in therapy offering a nudge of comfort at the most opportune times.
To schedule a session with Ginny present, just ask ahead of time to see her. She loves coming to work every day.
